Where it began
“The name was not just a title, but a destiny.”
Dana Morey received his calling after completing a cross-country run promoting the Year of the Bible. While driving through the desert, he sensed God's direction: "Begin a ministry to tell the world about the wonderful love of Jesus." The name came from Isaiah 42:5–7, which spoke of being appointed "as a light to the nations." A Light To The Nations was founded in 1984 and continues that calling today, with a growing team serving across East Africa.
