CAMPAIGNS

Our Gospel Campaigns are city-wide outreaches in collaboration with local churches, to transform cities and win the lost to Christ. The events typically last 4 days and take 3-5 months of preparation as we engage with hundreds of churches and plan for hundreds of thousands of attendees.

The main message every night is the gospel. We tell of Jesus’ life, death, burial and resurrection in payment for our sin. We invite each person to respond to the message by receiving forgiveness of sin and new life in Christ. The events reach 150,000 – 1,000,000 people with the Gospel and 50-60% typically indicate a decision to follow Jesus Christ. The partnering churches then use contact information collected from new believers to follow-up with them and invite them to be discipled.

During our campaigns we learn of the most acute needs in the communities we are ministering to and seek to meet those needs. Whether building homes, supplying food for the local school children, replacing worn out mattresses in orphanages, giving away goats or cows to the poorest of the poor, helping single moms learn skills or develop micro-enterprises, we seek to demonstrate Christ’s love in meaningful and tangible ways.

Recently, we have given bicycles and motorcycles away through a drawing that everyone is given a ticket to participate in. It is so beautiful because while everyone in the crowd hopes to have their number drawn, they all joyfully celebrate with the ones who do win because these small gifts are life-changing. 

The months of preparation in prayer, training, promotion, planning, logistics, and everything else that goes into these campaigns culminate in a broadly advertised four-day Gospel Campaign. This campaign includes conferences and mercy outreaches during the daytime and a massive outdoor gathering every evening where the FULL GOSPEL is proclaimed and the sick and oppressed are prayed for. 

As we see people come to a faith in Christ, we also see the blessings that come from that decision. One of the most amazing things we constantly witness is that local economies seem to prosper in new ways as a result of our campaigns and the impact the Gospel is having on communities all across Africa. Lives are being transformed and cities are being changed.
